John
has a background in Systems Accounting and prior to forming
Soft Tech operated a Systems Consulting practice. In
fact Soft Tech grew directly out of his interest in costing
and manufacturing systems for Aluminum Window manufacturers.
Today John (or JB as he is known by most people) is retired,
but remains actively involved in the wider issues of
the company as it's Chairman. He lives on the lovely
island of Waiheke, just 35 minutes by fast ferry from
Auckland. He is also an avid sailor who, prior to the
internationalization of Soft Tech, completed a number
of cruises around the South Pacific in his 36 foot Cavalier
class yacht "Camellia". These days the yacht
is used more in corporate regattas, and staff and client
outings. However at sundown with the occasional tot of
rum John has been known to regale the audience with tales
of storms and faraway lands. These days JB is more involved
in community issues. His hobbies include gardening, diving
and historic NZ art. JB also holds a private helicopter
licence, but is yet to acquire a corporate helicopter.
He is a past President of the New Zealand Software Association
(nzsa.org.nz) and a co-founder of the New Zealand Intellectual
Capital Foundation (nzinc.com). |

Chris Hopper

Chris
and family recently returned to New Zealand after several
years in the UK. He is now responsible for Soft Tech's
World Wide Professional Services and Commercial Development
of the New Zealand market. His experience has covered
Profile and Window system design, hardware design, deployment
of Alexsys, V6 and Saturn products in a wide range of
markets including NZ, Australia, USA and the UK.
In his spare time Chris coaches one of his three sons football team
and follows all three play on Saturday. This year the team has taken
a giant leap in grade and expectation from being called Bradford
City to now representing Brazil. The boys expect to rise to the occasion
and win most of their games. If there is any energy left a home in
desperate need of hard labour soaks up the rest of the weekend. |

Steve Judson

With
more than 20 years of high-powered experience in the
world of finance, IT and strategic planning, Stephen
is the Soft Tech Groups Chief Operating Officer where
he is responsible for the overall Financial, Operational
and Development aspects of the company - in essence the
daily operation. He comes with an extensive and impressive
background having held the position of Chief Financial
Officer in major publicly listed companies. Stephen is
currently based in Auckland, New Zealand. Steve, who
is married with three daughters and enjoys a busy lifestyle
which includes an active involvement with his family,
Rotary, golf, membership of a number of charitable concerns,
working out and reading. |

Phillip Thompson

Previously
a Management & Marketing Consultant specializing
in high tech industries, with an extensive and impressive
track record in this field. In addition to running the
U.S. operations, Phillip is the Soft Tech Group CEO and
is based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Phillip likes an
active life and enjoys scuba diving (he's a Padi Instructor),
karate (second degree black belt), cross-country motorbikes
(twice NZ champion) and racing in the Porsche Club. He
owns a farm near the trout fishing and ski mecca of Turangi,
which runs sheep, cattle and deer and also grows Radiata
pine trees. Needless to say, his other passions are skiing
and fly fishing. |
