| Result and benefits to the client: | Since 1997, Soft Tech V6 has been helping Kawneer produce fast and accurate engineered bills of material and the fabrication reports required for manufacturing of the finished product. With the recent conversion of our Estimating process to V6, we have made significant reductions in queue times by empowering one person with one tool to take a project from inception to manufacturing. We can also build the takeoff from the original estimate, saving the time of starting from scratch. Based on a Microsoft Smart Client platform Shower Pro has improved Alumax internal order entry times, reduced mistakes and allowed them to reduce inventory levels. It has also provided Alumax dealers with the ability to configure , price and fabricate complex framed and frameless shower door enclosures as well as order from Alumax on a 24/7 basis. |
