functionality in ABP’s internal solutions.
V6 dealer was deployed to integrate APB’s
Dealers with APBs Manufacturing resulting in

and benefits to the client: |
Since
1997, Soft Tech V6 has been helping Kawneer
produce fast and accurate engineered bills
of material and the fabrication reports required
for manufacturing of the finished product.
With the recent conversion of our Estimating
process to V6, we have made significant reductions
in queue times by empowering one person with
one tool to take a project from inception to
manufacturing. We can also build the takeoff
from the original estimate, saving the time
of starting from scratch. This has allowed
us to do more work with the same resources,
whilst reducing estimating and manufacturing
lead times.

Created
an industry specific Dealer and Sales order
entry application called ShowerPro. Based on
a Microsoft Smart Client platform Shower Pro
has improved Alumax internal order entry times,
reduced mistakes and allowed them to reduce
inventory levels. It has also provided Alumax
dealers with the ability to configure , price
and fabricate complex framed and frameless
shower enclosures as well as order from Alumax
on a 24/7 basis. |

Soft
Tech developed a great system for us and we
are very pleased with it. All our internal
customer service and sales people use it and
we are seeing major reductions in estimating

flexibility Schuco wanted and the breadth of
functionality Schuco’s Dealers needed.
Schuco were able to modify V6 so that it was
a Schuco branded product and enhance the User
Interface to include modules for Solar Panels,
Railings and Conservatories. |
